This role is responsible for preparing accurate and competitive bids for drywall scope, building strong relationships with builders and general contractors, and contributing to the continued growth of the company.
The ideal candidate is highly analytical, organized, and proactive-capable of producing precise take-offs while actively identifying new business opportunities. This role plays a key part in maintaining the company's reputation for quality, reliability, and strong partnerships
*Prepare accurate, detailed, and competitive proposals for residential and commercial drywall projects.
*Perform material take-offs and labor estimates based on project plans, specifications, and field conditions.
*Develop pricing in alignment with company standards and current market conditions.
*Estimate additional scopes as needed, including ACT (Acoustical Ceiling Tile) and related finishes.
*Review and analyze past bids to improve accuracy and competitiveness.
*Adjust pricing strategies based on market trends, job complexity, and historical performance.
*Communicate professionally and effectively with builders, general contractors, and clients.
*Build and maintain strong relationships with both existing and prospective customers.
*Respond to inquiries, clarifications, and revisions in a timely manner.
*Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through clear and accurate communication.
*Actively identify and pursue new opportunities in both residential and commercial markets.
*Generate leads through:
-Job site visits and field presence
-Builder and contractor relationships
-Online bidding platforms and industry networks
-Review of permits issued
*Support company growth by expanding market presence and strengthening client partnerships.
*Collaborate with internal teams, including paint, drywall, and operations, to ensure complete and accurate project scopes.
